I took my first-class of Argentine Tango (AT) with Michi in March 2018. On the first class I was so impressed with her passion on teaching AT, her ability to communicate every step and her patience, and precision. I have been practicing AT several years before, and I found out that her AT teaching benefit my AT social dancing. I have continue taking AT classes with her and I always get the best attention. She is eager to share her experience on AT with no hesitation. I am grateful on her personalized attention she has on me. I attend frequently to Tango parties (called Milongas) and notice that I applied several of the AT steps she thought me. We have a guided practice after her class, this gives us the opportunity to practice what we learn and she even dance with us a special treat not found in other places. I have taken AT private classes with her, and they are a treat, you get what you invest and more, I recommended. She is always available for her students whenever is need it. I have also the opportunity to do AT performance under her guidance, she drives her performance team to perfection, at the end is so rewarding because it is not only the performance, we learn but includes detailed teaching on every step, this benefit also AT social dancing. One important aspect of her class is the friendly environment. AT is centered in establishing connection, and Michi is very attentive in this respect. On the side we have party birthday celebrations. She is also a great teacher on Salsa and sensual bachata. I will continue to learn AT from her and even begin to learn from her Sensual Bachata with no doubt will be amazing.

I first met Michi as a fellow student at an intermediate tango class. Michi was such a pleasure to dance with that we both connected outside class to practice dancing together multiple times. I admired how Michi spent time researching and learning new tango combinations that she generously shared during our casual dance practices. Patient, dedicated, enthusiastic, and sharp, it has been such a pleasure to dance with Michi. No matter how difficult or challenging the tango moves were, Michi was committed to working with me to get us to the finish line and improving along the way. I have been with Michi for the past two years going on the third year with her tango class.
Tango class is unlike salsa. You really indulge yourself in the ambience of the room with the music and feel warm body next to you (dance partner.)
It’s not really fast paced dance compared to salsa but you still perspire from the precise movements instructed by Michi. I really get a good workout from her class.
During the past almost 2 years with the pandemic, we even danced outside for awhile with masks and gloves. I cannot describe the joy we felt once we were invited back into the classroom.
Throughout this unprecedented times of the challenge in our society, we were able to keep going with the passion for tango by Michi’s leadership and her zeal for teaching students. I look forward to dancing in the new “tango connection” company.
